Beta 1 is also out. Get it here. (www.geocities.com/darksfk/myquests.html) There is a bug which makes it so you cannot proceed any further. I will have that fixed plus an update in 2-3 days. The next beta will include the new overworld and I HOPE the level 1 custom boss.

EDIT: The pics show up as a red x, so just right click and select show picture.

I'm kinda using my own tileset, with a mixture of Prince's ML tiles and some LttP tiles for the dungeons.

Mmmm... those look kinda like my old dungeon tiles...

Looks like it's comin along nicely. Look forward to seeing it.

The OW is looking great now that you dumped the LTTP tiles. Nice work. :)

Yeah, I hated the old LttP tiles. It just didn't work with this quest. Thanks for the comments. No, I haven't used the skull tiles yet, because I haven't started the custom boss of level 1. The first part of the overworld is done, not the houses though, so if you guys want, I can put up the map.

I think the blue trees are too much, but maybe that's me. I like the pics though!

I like the blue trees :D and I got up to..... somewhere in lv. 1. I'm still trying to get the lamp. Your quest is hard, in a really fun way. I found that lv. 1 is full of puzzles, and that's the kind of thing I love in games. keep it up man, it'll be a great quest for everyone, I sure of it.

Really? That kinda stuff makes me wanna continue it. Oh, beta 1 has a bug where you cannot proceed any further, but it's only basically the boss room and another puzzle. Yeah, I guess you're right on the blue trees. I tried making some orange ones, but I can't work with palettes, and the colors came out orange. BTW, here's the map so far:
