that's called a theme. you can change them in your user CP if you don't appreciate the hard work the person put into it.

You can either:

1) Click the UserCP button, goto Edit Options, on that page, scroll down all the way near the bottom. There's a section for changing the theme. After you change the theme click Save Changes and ta-da!

2) See the side box on threads withj member's avatars, ranking, location...well see the last part? t says S-T-Y-L-E...different members have different styles so if you want their style, click it.

All this option does is mask your current style. The next time you log on or even after an hour or so, it resets to the theme you have set in your user CP.

The styles just change the look of the forums so if you are bored or if you do not like a certain theme or style, you can change it to one of those selectable that you enjoy more.
