Hey everyone! After what seems like ages, I've finally got new pictures of myself! :D

I really like my brother's new digital camera. I might have to get one of my own (it's a Kodak DX4900, 4.0 mega pixels, ~$399).

Which picture do you guys like better? I'm gonna add one to the member pages, but I can't decide.

The laptop was on, but it's a crappy laptop, one that you have to look at straight on to see. :tongue:

Take number 2, its more leveled and it will not give the wrong impression if anyone got some crazy ideas about the first one.

Where you trying to imitate yur avatar in your pose?

Nice pis though. I was wondering what you'd look like without being dressed like a gangster.

I'd say you should use the top picture.

Mmm... it's a difficult decision, but I think I like the top one better. It shows more of just you. ;)

Spider-Man? Actually, the other day someone said I reminded me of Peter Parker. It was the first time though. Someone told me I looked like Jonathon Brandis too, but I don't know what they were smoking.

That reminds me, I still have to see Spider-Man, grrr...

Actually from that angle, you sort of look like Jude Law... you know, that guy from Enemy at the Gates and The Talented Mr. Ripley.

Hey, I just got that exact same camera! I got it on sale for $350, with an extra 32 MB of memory. :kawaii: I really like it so far, though I haven't used it much yet (I'm trying to talk my girlfriend into a visit so I can put it to use).

Really? Cool! I think I'm gonna save up money this summer and then buy it.

You wouldn't know anything about uploading pictures from that camera to a Linux computer, would you? That's the only thing that might make me change my mind. I gotta get the pictures into my computer some how.

I think I saw a tutorial about using digital cameras with Linux at linux.com. I haven't read it though, and don't know much about how it would be done.

I suppose you could probably find a CompactFlash card reader with a Linux driver somewhere. The camera came with software for a direct USB port connection, but AFAIK, that software is Windows-only. (Then again, I could easily be wrong.)

I think Konqueror has a Digital Camera I/O, but I haven't gotten a chance to try it.

lol. no, I wasn't trying to imitate my avatar. It was just easier for my brother to take those pictures from that angle, otherwise he'd standing in the doorway to my room.

But, I definitly needed a new picture. That Old Time Photo picture of me as a gangster is so old. I think it was taken in June 2000, 2 month before I even joined AGN.
