When is this cd scheduled to be released? Will it include the best quests as well as secondary quests that come with it? If so, I need to know a deadline in which I can finish my latest quest and submit my four 'good' quests for CD submission. :)

You know...this was better suited for ZC Discussion...but since you're trying to branch out of Zelda and into GD...it's ok. Oh...yeah, the post is allowed...the forum header says go off topic about anything...

I think this CD is a far off plan. 1.92 hasn't officially been released, with no date of an official release. Then DN has to get to work on 2.0, once 1.92 is done and finished. 1.92 has been worked on for over a year now, and considering the ambitious ideas in 2.0, I don't think that will be complete any sooner.

I believe with how the development cycle is going, we probably won't see the beginnings of 2.0 until next year. With my estimate, you have quite a while to work on your quest.

Thats my estimate though, DN possibly knows more than anybody how the project will progress.

I hope it comes out soon, but I also hope that DN doesn't rush it. I'm sure he will do a great job

And it's still just a proposition I think. It might never happen.

Technically, he doesn't have to do jack squat. He isn't paid for any of this; he does it because he enjoys it.

At least, I think that's his reason.

I would think this is just a figure of expression in answer to the question.

I know. Just felt like being an ass today. You spend $200 on tires, then discover the same day that your brakes are bad, and you'll be an ass, too.

Yeah, what Jemsee said. If there is going to be a CD with 2.0, don't you think that means whoever is working on the project has to get to work?

True, dat.

Fine. I'll go pay for my brakes. :blah:

Technically, 1.92 is 2.0. 1.92 is the beta version.

Oh, but if it becomes a cd, there is no chance whatsoever of me getting it. One it would have to cost $$ and 2 I'm in Iowa!

I'm positive they'll have it up for download... This would just be some sort of limited edition offer to ZC fans.

It will have to be up for download as well as offered on a CD, otherwise ZC would cost money and thus possibly cross the fine line of legalness. So you shouldn't worry about the CDs unless you want one.

You could even try to sell it on like the discount CDs rack in Circuit city or something; maybe make a little bit of the green stuff...

Once again, this tiptoes over the line and had Nintendo knocking on DN's door a few days (or weeks) later. Maybe they would choose Jarrod instead of DN, mind...
