If it won't play you will have to wait for it to finish downloading completely.
I know it is a longtime to wait, but it will be worth it.

And as with any movie you get off of Kazza, scan it for viruses before you watch it.

The reason you cant view the file is probably because Kazaa only supports mpeg files... What your d/l is most likely an avi file...

yeah, I'd wait for the DVD rips of those movies, that way I get better quality.

That's not entirely true. When I download... certain videos... and they are avi, the usually pop up in their respective program.

I got GTA3 off of Kazaa. It took three tries, though. The first one was actually Motocross Maniacs or something, and the second was actually Resident Evil 2. But the third one was actually the right game.

try this: pause the d/l, copy the file and rename the copy to .avi or something. that might work. You can just resume the d/l after you copied the file. Don't even try renaming the orginal file, it won't work because it's currently beeing written to, and if you pause it and then rename it you probably lost your whole file because KaZaA won't resume it.

I agree with the guitar man (sorry for the bread reference). I have renamed the (paused) download before, and it plays. But in more recent versions of kazaa, it does what rainman said and opens in its respective program, so maybe all you have to do is update your kazaa, or better yet, get kazaa lite from www.kazaalite.com

KazaaLite is basicly a better version of Kazza, without the spyware and shit.

First, that spiderman movie might not even be spiderman. There were lots of fake files posing as spiderman and episode 2.

Next, the AVI you are downloading is encoded and therefore the file must be complete before a program will attempt to play it. So you must wait till it's completely dled.
