Clock Work: The Song of Time by Gerudo

The passing of time,
the 24 hours of day and night,
our planet of life, death, and rebirth,
a flower, torn away by sudden winter,
creation, is in the eye of the beholder,
so many mysteries, we will not figure out,
the outerspace, filled with stars, planets, and suns,
the swirling of miracle makes a new day,
from a long time ago, a time not remembered,
invention, seeks so many creators,
to reach beyond our limits, to touch the stars,
time passes quickly during these events,
surrounded by so many new things,
knowledge is found by those who seek it,
places are found by the curiousity,
soon, the time of excellence will pass,
we will breathe our last breath,
sorrow will only be an emotion,
and happiness a state of mind,
though we will always look forward,
the advice is by those who live a dream,
we are what we make of ourselves,
and to this day, history has repeated itself,
since the dawn of time,
life has lived and died,,
caused our existance,
from our past, to the present, into the future...

I don't know how many people here will read something like that, but I for one really enjoyed it and thought it was well written and thought out.

Thanks for posting that.

I tried to sing that that to the Song of Time from the N64 Zeldas.

Don't try.
Neat poem, though.

Reminds me a bit of the Circle of Life song from the Lion King.
