I recently saw a brochure for Gannon University in Erie, PA. It has nothing to do with Zelda but Gannon is still an uncommon name, with 1 'n' or 2.

Gannon actually is a typical name. Ganon, isn't. I have a camper in my group who's first name is Gannon, and I was gonna tell ya all earlier, but I forgot cuz he's not here this week. No, I did not tell him his name is spelled wrong.

In my home town the Doc's last name was Gannon.
He had a son Mike that was in my same class.
Mike was a large person, not fat just big, and therefor the playground bully.
He never did graduate with us, soon as he hit 18 he left home and joined the Marines. I'm shure he made a good one.
In school we called him Gannon the Cannon.
Now there is a blast from the past.
