They don't say. But its a MMORPG so i assume they'll need quite a few.

Judging by the amount of Star Wars fans who will undoubtedly jump right in, I'd say they have liberty to pick a fairly large amount of folks.

Somebody explain to me how this game is going to work, I am assuming that it will be like PSO but with Star Wars Characters right?

They plan to make it more innovative than that. Check the big fat FAQ at starwarsgalaxies.com and you'll find answers.

No its very different from PSO. PSO only lets you play with 3 other people at a time while SWG lets thousands of people play together on one server. Its called a MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Role Playing Game) like Everquest and Final Fantasy 11. I signed up for the BEta Quest but i think I'm below the age limit.
