Yesterday at the Deli the Pepsi guy came in with his delivery and instead of Dr.Pepper I see a new drink called "Mr.Green" its made by sobe and looks like Dr.Pepper only has a lizered on it. So i had to have a try. It tasted EXACTLY like Dr.pepper. So im thinkning that Sobe bought out DP.

That shit is gross...It's really dark green....*GAGS*...it has Ginseng in it also...bah!

nah.... i just went to the store while they were delivering Dr. Pepper along with pepsi, mountain dew and cherry pepsi.

Dr. Pepper has a new flavor coming out, but it is not Mr. Green, it is called Red Fusion.

I love Dr. Pepper and Sarspirilla... But I dont drink it much... Im a healthy little boy i prefer juice and fresh water..;)

Its better for you health.. Another thing i love is red fanta!!That stuff gets you on a sugar high!!

SODA ES GOOD 4 MEA!!! WWWWEEEEEEEEEEEEE!! SUGAR!!!!!!

I love sodas, but I do eat healthy. For me, if I eat or drink to much of one processed food I lose all willingness to consume that anymore. Not until a day or 2 later. But when it comes to fresh fruits and vegis, I'm a freak. I love to eat raw, and cooked fruits and vegis. If I could I would seriously eat natural foods all the time, because they taste better than freezer foods and stuff like that. But I will forever love frech fries, and hamburgers. It's just the sugarry snacks and sodas I can't always consume.

Dr. Pepper is an odd drink. It is like a soda but it is also fruity. Anyway I think Pepsi owns DRP. They probably aren't going to give it up.

Dr. Pepper is made by Pepsi, I just read the case.

But why would Sobe make a soda that has the same color bottle, kinda same name, and the SAME TASTE!!

lol Dr.pepper was arested for mal-practice and had to change his name.... MR.GREEN!!

It could be that where you are from, that area was selected for market testing. In this case they might be seeing if changing the name and look of DR Pepper would be good.

I almost never drink Dr. Pepper... Didn't like it when I first tasted it by mistake years ago. Regarding the buyout, that's quite impossible, since Pepsi would have to go bankrupt before it decides to pull out of one of its best selling drinks...

Dr. Pepper is the best soda. Buy it, drink it, and if Sobe bought it out, I'd probably go nuts. They are too new in the business market to buy such a long standing pepsi out...if anything, pepsi bought sobi, but I'd doubt that they'd replace Dr. Pepper.

my diet consists of Dr Pepper, hotsauce, burgers, pizza, tacos, buritos, nachos, fries, and stuff. stuff is good.

I always thought Dr.Pepper was an independent drink. I mean its basically Cherry Flavored and both Pepsi and Coke have cherry sodas. Not to mention I never saw pepsi or coke on my DP can..maybe Ihavent looked hard enough.

This also happend to Surge soda, one day it was gone and replaced by Mellow Yellow, it had the same label and tasted the same...

wierd.
