Has anyone ever heard someone say "there is no such thing as a stupid question?" They're wrong. There have to be stupid questions, otherwise, what kind of questions would stupid people ask? Would they gain 50 IQ points right before they ask a question? That's a deep thought. Well, for me, anyway.

LOL, seriously. I've never heard that expression though, "There is no stupid question". But there are stupid questions. It'll just take awhile for me to give an examle. Okay, how about, "Duh....is this a question?" Is that a stupid question or what?

Now that I think about it, the question is only stupid if the person who says it already knows the answer, or something like that. Can someone help me out here, this is getting confusing.

I can think of several stupid questions off the top of my head.

"How do you turn this thing on?"
The power switch would be a good place to start.
"Did I just delete the Internet?"
Yes. Your keystrokes have wiped out a global network of servers, routers and the like.
"What's better, X-Box or Gamecube?"
What's better, Zelda or GTA? Depends on what you like, my friend.

There's lots of stupid questions I've heard. And whenever somebody asks a stupid question, it seems they get frowned upon, as if that proves that they themselves are stupid. Hmmm...

Among the stupid questions I've heard are:
"Ar yuo a hobp?" (Are you a hobo? :lmao: )
"Do yuo want to ply war?" (Do you want to play war? That would be WARN, the moron wants to warn me on AIM)
"Did you make your web page with HTML?"

Both of these guys are obviously IDIOTS. :D

It's all relative to your IQ. It kind of works like this:

stupid person + question / smart person = stupid question

however,

stupid person + question / stupid person = "WOW! That IS a good question!"

Obviously, if you're as stupid as the question, it's not stupid.

I have heard "There is no such thing as a stupid question, just stupid answers".

Um, if you look to the left under your name, you will see that you are already a mod.

This is an example of a stupid answer.....

How do I post a reply?

I seriously seen someone ask that before.

Raichu, you just did. -_-

Can someone tell me how you add a smilie? :confuse2:

Ok, that's enough of that from me.

Now I know who asked that one question... *looks at Raichu*.

Somebody did that at a board I used to go to. I didn't come up with it. :lmao:

First he posted a new topic asking "How do you post a topic?" then people laughed at him and stuff, then he replied asking "How do you post a reply?" The topic was hilarious, but it turned into flaming and was closed.

I think the thing is that there is no such thing as a stupid question, as long as you truly don't know the answer, if you ask retorical questions that you demand be answered (my parents) you are stupid.

There's also a saying:
There are no stupid questions, only stupid people! :lmao:

Once, over AIM, someone (I think it was SlasherGCE) asked me if I had AIM.
