Were do all of the quest makers host all of their quests and image files? I am using netfirms at the moment but my quest takes to much space up so they wont let me put it on there.
Can enyone tell me a good site who will host my quests and image files? Please only tell me free ones because I cant afford to pay.

I signed up to Angelfire when they offered 50 megs of space, so I'm set. ;)

Now, they only offer 25 megs to new members. :(

Though you got the link wrong, I wouldn't link to that. Directory surfers would have a time grabbing some of the stuff on that directory. -_-

Edit: Ok... I was thinking of a different link. Nevermind. -_-

The upload doesn't work at the moment anyway from what I heard.

Yep. As far as I now AZC uploads is dead for now.

Netfirms is good for images under 256k. Just go to www.netfirms.com and sign up for a free account, get an FTP client from www.download.com and you're all set. Just don't put your quests or anything larger than 256k there, as Netfrms won't allow anything bigger than that to be downloaded.

As far as quests storage, I use a Yahoo briefcase and the Quest Database(but quest submision is down at the moment). Yahoo briefcases don't allow direct downloads though, so you'll have to link to the directory.

Yahoo briefcase isn't working too well these days.

That may be because you have to pay to get public shared folders. That's what someone told me. :confuse2:

We're going to try to have the QDB submissions page back up again soon. No guarantees, but we are trying.

When you submit a quest to the QDB, can you make links to the quest that you just submited?(post links to the download on the forums as if netfirms or something like that were hosting it)

I think you should be able to... if not, you could always post a link to your submission (the post) in the Quest Database. :)

You can edit your own links into your submissions. PrinceMSC did this with The Revenge; odd, since it's also on the QDB in some fashion (must be outdated, or something...).

Ok, so I will be able to make links to it.
Thanx for the info:D

Is there a deadline set for when the QDatabase is going to take subbmisions again?
