World Cup

Who else besides me will be up at 7:25am EST to watch the first game of the World Cup between France and Senegal. Three floormates and I have already stated that we are going to watch as many live games as we possibly can, which means staying up through most of the night and taking long afternoon namps.

Maybe a more important question should be, does anyone here besides me actually care about the World Cup?

I'll check into it from time to time, but I'm certainly not going to watch the first match (7:25AM EDT = 4:25AM PDT). 4:25 is when I go to bed, not when I get up.

Perhaps the really important question: Can the US do better than last place this time?

I care about the World Cup, just not enough to get up tommorrow to watch! Football is a prime sport and I only wish the U.S. could get to their senses and build a national team that can compete.

How cool would it be if the MLS was as established and as skilled as MLB, NFL, etc.

I dont really care much for soccer....

Im more the basketball and racquet sport type person....
