Even with 56k. I played a couple of rounds with Meta yesterday. Two words: Lag and fun.
That being said, would any one be interested in some sort of online (lag) tourney, like for instance Tetris (Lag) Attack?
Please? It's really fun.

Huh? Are you interested, or what? You're obviously not talking about playing online w/ ZSNES, so what's up?
Or are you spamming?
Geez...

Lag is probably right on that ;). I tried to play Secret of Mana once with a friend (in the same state as me), but the game lagged really bad.

If the ping gap is less than 400ms I'll play ;). I have to know what game first though (I don't have many 2 player ones). :)

Pag gap averaged 400 ms even for meta and I, so you'll be fine. The main game that i'm pushing online play is Tetris Attack.
Why? Tetris Attack relies heavily on local input, and very little on remote. In other words, your friend lagging means a lot less in TA than SOM.
Anyway, if you're interested, just PM or IM or whatever.

Quick question, how do you find your own IP address?

Savior: if you use the windows version, when you go to netplay, it shows it for ya.
So...everyone is asking unrelated questions. Is ANYONE interested? Even if it's not playing TA.

Umm, I'll play, but i'd need some key components, i.e an emulator and some umm, non-ROM umm, files. Yeah.

I'll have to look at actually getting the right files ;).

And I also have a huge test to study for (the CCNA if yer curious), so I probably won't be able to play for a bit anyway.

I'll keep ya on the buddy list here (and on whatever client you use if you have one :)).

I've got a cable modem, b*atches. ^_^

Seriously C-Dawg, if you want to play anything witha 56K, I suggest you get Quake 1/II in the bargin bin or Starcraft Battle Chest.

All three of those are games that people still play (yes, even Quake I. In fact, the major Quake TeamFortress servers are almost always full)

Speaking of Quake, I'm (hopefully) going to start weekly Rocket Arena matches, if anyone is interested.

Well, I've gotten 4 or 5 (Thunder, are you in?) people so far, any others?
(And don't be b*tchy because you have faster connections, it's still fun)

Like I said, I'll be getting MY copies of Starcraft and BW back from my friend. So woohoo!
