Well, I was wrong for one thing... Konami decided that 2D might not go well on a next-gen console, so they are making Castlevania 3D...
Now, they ARE fixing all the problems from the past 3D CV's, and NOT, repeat, NOT making it linear. As a matter of fact, like a 3D SOTN!!! You explore the entire castle as if you are Link walking through Hyrule (good for those not liking the new Zelda title), except with much more gore and blood, and RE quality graphics, or possibly better!
Looking foward to 2D, get the GBA game. Looking for a better 3D, get the GCN Castlevania. It's a win-win situation for CV fans.
It better not fail like the N64 titles did.
