Is there a glossary of terms associated with ZQuest anywhere?
It's something that would help newbies like myself.

I knew about the enemy list. I was looking for terms like:
Pallet, Combo, Sprite, Flags, Under Combo, Screen Combo, etc.

Pallet - Where Ness lives
Combo - A deli sandwich with three kinds of psuedomeat on it
Sprite - A small forest elf that sometimes visits my pants
Flags - Pieces of fabric tied to the top of long poles so that the wind makes them flag upright.
Under Combo - Usually where your plate or some wax paper is.
Screen Combo - To have someone else taste your combo to make sure it isnt poisoned.

-I looked at the enemy list and Ness wasn't listed there.

-I've seen Faries in Zelda but I haven't seen a Sprite yet

-Is that anything like when a maiden ties her scarf to the javolin of her champion? I've seen them do that in movies but haven't seen any jousting in Zelda.

Misc Data, Header, String, Path, and Guy.
If anyone else has some terms they don't understand C-Dawg and I are compiling a list.
Seriously I just thought a glossary would be useful.

Pallette - a batch of colors, basically
Combo - I've tried every definition in mind, and the actual one escapes me; I know combo types, like push, etc., but the actual definition of Combo escapes me
Sprite - Link, Ganon, and any other moving character in the game
Flags - change what happens with a certain tile on a certain screen; i.e. an enemy appears at this flag, or a stair appears at another after blowing the Whistle at a third, etc.
Under Combo - what appears under a tile that contains a secret.; for instance, moving a rock reveals bare ground
Screen Combo - I must be going dumb; I don't recall this one

Misc Data - :odd: If I am thinking correctly, it's all of the extra info used for tiles, etc. on a screen; I'll look this up
Header - Quest info; type your name, quest version, password...
String - what you see in a cave
Path - are we talking computer talk here, or am I missing something?
Guy - the idiot (or smart person, whatever) who says the strings in a cave

I appreciate your help Cyclone. The second list of terms was just me being a smart ass so don't worry about them too much.
I'm compiling all of your answers so far with some of the other information I've gotten from the tutorial and the help files into my own glossary. I'll return to this thread if I have any more questions about terms.

Also zquest.txt has come with ZC for quite a while now and is also integrated into the help options etc->...
Oh man 2002 documentation was sorely lacking! :p
