a little help please!

I have just downloded mIRC, now can someone tell me how to get to the #AGN?

I'm stumped!

OK, I'm assuming you can get to the options screen, the one that has a big "connect to IRC server" button. Here's a step-by-step:

1) click the "Add" button
2) in the "description" box, put whatever you want to describe the server (see the next step for suggestions)
3) in the "server" box, type armageddon.theliberation.net. (I also have spacestation.theliberation.net as an alternate server; sometimes armageddon goes down. Name it accordingly in the "description" box, I have one named AGN and one named spacestation.)
4) In the "group" box, I suggest typing "AGN", this will make a new group, so you don't have to wade through the list to find these again.
5) Leave the "password" and "port" boxes alone.
6) Click "Add".
7) Click "Connect to IRC server"
8) When connected, type "/join #AGN"
