You made a router. And you're using it to connect more than one computer to the internet?
Just a guess..

So is this router basically a normal PC configured as a router? And if so what OS are you using on it?

I'm just wondering, becuase I'm trying to figure out how to make an old computer I have into a router.

I set up a Linksys router when I swiched to my new IP.
Just 2 PCs but can have up to 4.
It is nice for there are 5 I-net useres and a line to use it.
Now two can be on a once, and all those games that you could play with 2 people are open to us w/out haveing to use the net.

yup, having a router and cable modem is the shit! although behind a firewall has its restrictions though. i cant send files, i cant host games via the net, but as long as i go along at breakneck speed (downloading at 90k+ owns), i am ever so happy.
