Looks like they fixed alot of crash bugs, as well as alot of other things too. I hope my crash info helped them do it :)

Anyways, you Linux users on the boads (the few of us), be sure to check this out if you like Opera!

Hehe, I like your avatar Raichu :D

Also, for those who don't know which version to download, I'd recommend the QT Dynamically Linked version (for Mandrake and Redhat). Or, if you're using Mandrake, they have the Opera 6.0 final release in the Mandrake Cooker I think.

Thanks, I like it too. :D

I got the linked version because Opera 5 is already installed linked. QT won't even need upgraded. :D

Wow! I'll drop my reliable and highly compatable IE 6 for a crash-prone and costly 3rd party Browser!

Or not.... :)

-edit: raar... noticed it's for Linux users... n/m then :)

Oops, my mistake, Opera 6.0 final is not in the Mandrake Cooker. (Opera would never release it's source code)

Opera 6.0 for Windows has been out for a long time. The version of Opera I used to have which crashed alot was a beta Linux version, so bugs were expected. This is the final release though, and so far they've fixed alot of stuff: my performance is way better. Not to mention Squid works with it. Yay!

Internet Exploder is the worst web browser. It does NOT comply to web standards. Look at it, even NS6 supports Alpha PNGs. I guarantee you, Opera will run a LOT faster for you and almost NEVER crash.

Do Iframes work in Opera? I love Iframes :)

I hate netscape as a Javascript coder. They have that stupid layer object that is far less versatile than IE.

IE already runs fast with many windows and has never crashed on me with XP.

Iframes do work in Opera. You can disable them if you get pissed off at them, like I commonly do.
