Anonymizer?

I came across much riddicule for trying to post an image from a Tripod host. However, I HAVE heard of something around here...I think it was called the anonymizer...that allows the viewing of such pictures.

Anyone know what I'm talking about? How do I use it?

If memory serves, you stick "http://invis.free.anonymizer.com/" on the front of your URL.

There used to be a nice explaination in nubie central but can't find it now.

What I have always done is I copyed the example to a word doc and saved it as AGN stuff. When I want to post a pic I open it and copy/paste to the post then copy/paste the pic file name.

What I have saved =
[*img]http://invis.free.anonymiser.com/http://www.geocities.com/idowindows_gary/ .jpg[/img]

Then I place file name right before the .jpg.
Of course you would have to replace the web host info. with your own.
I'v also learned that if a pic is already on the web you can just right click and copy propeties address and paste that in the IMG button and no need of anonymiser thingy.
That may have been common knowlage but I just figured it out the other day when people were complaining about the slowness of the anonymiser.
