ONLINE BABY! (http://www.planetgamecube.com/news.cfm?action=item&id=3010) They finally announced their plans and everyone gains something from it. Nintendo won't charge, but 3rd parties can. Meh, everyone wins anyway!

Wholly crap! I just realized something after reading The Spot on Gamespot that I didn't realize before.

Nintendo is not charging royalty fees on online games, such as Phantasy Star Online. That means publishers are going to save money making online games for GCN! And possibly pass on the savings to the gamer making it cheaper to play games online if there's a fee!
