It's way too big.
But there is an alternative that you can legally get for free.

ftp://ftp.sot.com/sotoffice-2002/windows/soto_en.exe

It is a full featured Office suite. I use it all the time, and there is a program in it that can save and edit and open MS PowerPoint files.

Interesting. That might prove useful, although the only place I can think of using powerpoint in is school or businesses. i can't imagine the program being used on a home desktop.

Yeah, I can't see any home uses for PowerPoint and similar software, either. But they included it with SOT office so people will have it if they need it.

Anyone know if there's a way to make an event in PP that is activated when you press a key, and could be activated at any point in the presantation?

I like to use the slidshow feature in powerpoint just for fun... or to scare somebody into thinking that their comp is busted ;)
