When I started up AIM a few minutes ago, that annoying news window always pops up. I looked at it and for the X-Files thing, show was spelled with two O's. Just thought I'd point that out!

lol I can tell you how to change it so it doesnt pop up. goto myaim:editoptions:editprefences:sign on sign off it will be in there near the bottom :)

I would've stopped using AIM altogether if I had to put up with that every time I signed on. I was pissed after I upgraded and that started happening. Fortunately they're still decent enough to make it optional.

6.0, 7.0, what's the difference. it's gonna become obsolete in a month anyways, and AOL sucks from the start (i have no idea what those idiots in the commercials are thinking).

This (http://www.barnwellct.org/pics/aolsucks.avi) sums up my feelings about AOL. Due to bandwidth issues, I won't leave it up long, so watch it/download it quick, I will remove it tomorrow.

The window is a conspiracy used by AOL to try to subliminally draw you to join their service... at least that's what I think of it.

There is nother subliminal about it. Of course they are trying to get you to join there service. It's what ads are for. I'm not saying I'm pro AOL just pointing that out.

That thing has bugged me forever. I wonder why AOL hid the turn off check so well. Oh wait, it's a conspiracy! :rolleyes:

I turned off the news window long ago, as well as that stupid news ticker. Why do they have 2 news things? Becuase they think were f***ing morons. The same thing with the ads.
