ROMs... (no not a request)

Dosn't it piss you off when you go to a ROM site, thinking you're gonna get the ROM you want, and the you click on the ROMs link and it brings up the, like top 50 ROM sites? I was looking for the MMX ISOs for PSX and didn't find a one! (well, I found FFT, but I still can't play it!) I don't know, I just thought I'd post this, get it off my chest...

I hate that shit... internet spam... I have one tip for you. When your looking through a list of sites with their description with them, and if it says PSX, PS2, XBox, Dreamcast, or GameCube ROMs, it is most likely to ba a fake ROM site. CD's cannot be made into ROMs. If it says ISO's, there might be a slighter chance of it being fake, since ISO's are rare.

Yeah, this goes for all types of searches on the net, not just ROMS. You get to a page that you think will have what you want, then you get another link, to another etc...

In short, you get the runaround, and never get anywhere. The internet sucks now...

well, I found 1 site, but It didn't have almost any ISOs and people seem to have millions! I'm thinking of getting a whole bunch of people together and make a website just for roms!

...or when you go to a site you've been to before, and find that the site was hacked and instead you end up at a porn site... that one really annoys me. Why do people do stupid shit like that?

then there are those sites that say they have roms but when you click their url you get the site and a whole load of porn and other spam! then you finally chop your way out of the jungle of spam and find the roms but it turns out to be more spam and the top 50 rom sites!

Heh, I know 3 great ROM sites, been using them for years... but I cant tell you, cause it's against the rules. There ARE still good sites out there, though, they're just buried in 2000 tons of utter crap.

I hate those damn sites. Absolute waste of my time is what they are. I also hate sites that have downloads that reset when they get to 100 KB or so and won't complete.

well, I found a forum where people can request roms, I'm hopefully gonna get a reply from a guy i emailed, but yeah, I've got a great rom site at www.*******.com ;)

Bah, I hate it when that happens. I go to a site that says direct downloads or something but before you can go there you are forced to vote 3 times or so (those sites you have to vote for have also a ton of popups) and then when you managed to do that you end up at a top something sites instead of an actual download. Oh well, I find good sites ocasionally and at least it's free.

That's why I don't bother with sites for ISOs. File sharing programs are more efficant.
