Has anyone ever find themselves saying "lol" in response to something? I almost did once but I caught myself.

I spend most of my free time online, where these things are actually somewhat signifigant, but I have never EVER caught myself using any initializations like these.

Not offline. I say "laugh out loud" sometimes, but not "lol".

I have once or twice just for laughs. More often then not I sign my name as JJ instead on Jason... ;)

I never even write "lol" online. I prefer "heh," myself.
Though I have pretty much stopped using my real name whenever I can manage.

My friends and I usually say it as a joke sometimes just to show our geekiness. We'll also use other ones like "WTF" or "LMAO"

I did once, but on purpose. IMO, I think is geh to use computer lingo in RL.

I don't recall saying anything like that. I have often said "what the fuck". But not "W" "T" "F".

Laughter is a human emotion, "lol" is digital emotion... Fortunately, I can distinguish between them.

Never, in fact a lot of times I don't even use it online. I normally just use smilies for that.
