This is my contest quest. I have some pretty big plans for this one, but I'm not sure how many I can actually implement.
I am not releasing a demo now, because I haven't gotten too much actual game play done yet, most of the work has been with tiles and midis. Anyhow, here are 4 screenshots.

The Title Screen. Nothing spectacular here, besides the planets. Can anyone guess where I got the planets from? Also what do they represent, in the Zelda universe?

Link's house after a snowstorm the night before.

A water fall.

The interior of the Arania Sanctuary. It is not tyical Hyrulian architecture, you'll find out why later.

In order to understand this quest fully you will need to play "Tales of Hyrule: Rise of Enlil" Alot of mysteries from that quest will be solved in this sequal.
I might release a demo next week.

Looks cool

Is it just me or does it look like your tiles are sqished like this:

........l
..___V____
..l...............l
..l...............l
..l...............l
..-------------
........^
........ l

Note: since the boards don't like to many spaces i used dots. Ignore them

They aren't hard to make.
First you need to figure out what you want on the screen. Then find the background. I used those two planets and stars. For the Legend of Zelda thing I used Teilyr's Zelda template, I think it's in the tileshop. And the letters I used for 'Mystery of Enlil" I got from Sludge. The background in on layer 0, and the letters are on layer 1.

And glad you like it.

EDIT: Mountaindrew; what do you mean? do you mean the big trees?

They don't really look squished to me.
they are simply 3x3 tree tiles that look similar to LttP trees.
I might try to make them look a little better, but I really want them to be 3x3.

I can't do too much about her. It's pretty hard to get or make good 1 tile LttP-ish characters. I think either Cloral or Orion made her. Again although I suck at tile editing, I'll see if I can make her thinner(no guarentees though, she'll prolly stay as is).

You can cover up the "guy" and draw a two tile one. I did that with a biggoron selling a sword.

Ah, well in post production I will work on something like that.

I never use the default guys(anymore, my first quest doesn't count).
I have quite a few people tiles that I am using.
I have a few women, some old men, some mystics, some Subrosians, the windmill guy, etc.

Brilliant so far. I'm hoping you do put out a demo very soon because I did like "Rise" quite a bit despite it being quite a long time ago.
