No Sound

Can anyone tell me:

1. Why I have no sound. I have a win2000 PC with an AC '97 sound card. (If that helps)
2.Why I get this when I run agsetup:

what version are you using?

I have heard that v1.90 doesn't like Win2000. If you don't have it already, download v1.92 build 152 Windows version from the top of this forum.
