The Sonics beat the Lakers twice this year, four times the previous year, but it doesn't much matter. The Lakers, like the Yankess in baseball, are playoff machines.

The Yankees were beaten by a magical Arizona team. Now really, is there anyone in the East who can measure up to any team left in the West? Even Seattle could beat the best in the East.

As long as the Lakers don't win it all, I'll be a happy man. I can't stand Shaq or Kobe, and now I hate Jackson after he basically ran Jerry West out of town.

Jerry West was the man. Phil Jackson was cool with the Bulls, but I don't like him anymore.
