What language(s) are ZC and ZQuest made in? When I say "languages" I mean the programming language they were made in, not the spoken language. If it's simple to learn, then I might be able to help as a :newbie: programmer, doing the simple but tedious things that DN doesn't have time to do.

Correct on both counts.

As for assistance, I can't give anyone the source code. However, I can give you assistance if you are interested in making a 3rd-party program.

That'd be cool if someone else could help out DN...twice the speed.

Actually, no. Coordinating more than one person on a program is hellishly complicated. If you've got a massive commercial program, a large part of the design is planning and designing heirarchy so that people can work on their own little units. You know, top-down design. ZeldaClassic, from what I gather, is a more "organic" program that has evolved from the bottom up. The original code has been poked and prodded into new shapes. Since there isn't a pre-planned, divided design to work from, I dont think a second person could help DN much. It'd be too much trouble to get that person up to speed, and nearly impossible to coordinate new coding.

Or so it seems to me.

I must command C-Dawg on the accuracy of his observations.

Thanks. I was just wondering.
