i went to shoutcast.com, and like 8 outta 10 radio stations have some stuff goin on...

www.saveinternetradio.org

edit:

im listeing to the simulcast, can it looks like internet radio existence as we know it has until may 21, and the bang, its gone, because they will owe royalty fees per song per listener, and back-fees from 1998 on.

they want $0.0014 per song per listener...

this disgusts me...

That sucks...I can't live without Bigmog radio or sometimes Nintendo-Intense-Radio.

Shoutcast just provides the radio program and manages the stations in a directory but doesn't actually provide server space for music right? Where Live365 does.

Just for that, WAGN will be on the air all day today.

The RIAA is using "piracy" (And I use the term loosely) as an excuse to puppeteer the federal government, thereby making them the new government-sponsored monopoly that nobody seems to notice because they're shouting at Microsoft so much.

Well, THE BUCK STOPS HERE!!

I have not used on-line radio much.
But my brother in Idaho does all the time.
I sent him the link to saveinternetradio.
He is going to be vary upset. Bummer.

Off topic a bit, but I just d/l'd winamp, and I am listing to WAGN, but is there a way with winamp to find out artist/title of the song that is playing?

Look in the playlist. It should be there.

If not, it's something wrong on JJ's end.

I thought that was where it should show up, but all I get is 1. (WAGN - AGN's Premier Radio Station). Just a reference to the station, no list of what is playing.

you should do a talk show where you take e-mails and stuff and give your thoughts about the subject!

Bring it!

I don't listen to any radio much. Radio is just too filled with stupid pop songs and rap. It's annoying.

Then you're listening to the wrong stations.

If anyone's listening to WAGN, can anyone tell me what song is playing right now (6:00 central time)? "A golden bird who flys away, a candlestick of flame"

Savior, thats 'Never There' by Cake.

Also, I haven't set up the playlist feature yet. WAGN is still in it's beta testing mode. *LOL*

Thanks JJ!

[edit] One complaint, however. I don't like it when it gets to the middle of a song, and then you switch to the next one (or it might just be incomplete downloads, I suppose). It kinda makes me feel betrayed, lol.
