Whoa, there's no text. I wonder what that is from? I'd guess that tips and tricks book.

The picture didn't work. Here's the link. http://loz.zeldalegends.net/media/images/zelda1/overworld.gif

Might have looked better as a jpeg though.

It's like geocities.. you have to be at their page, they don't allow external linking..

Anyways, that's cool.. it was in NP (vol. 1 I believe)

I've got a cool map of Hyrule in Zelda II from my Nintendo Fan Club issue.

This is a good Zelda website. I've seen it before but never really looked at it. They even have the proper names for the Zelda 2 bosses, dunno where they came from though.

Jermafenser (nicknamed Helmethead).
Mazura (nicknamed Horsehead).
Rebonack (nicknamed Ironknuckle).

All the other names are the same, must be the Japanese names or they just got lost over time.

Looks like they have all the Zelda 1 enemy artwork, Warlock.

They have some scans of the Tips and Tactics book too.
I've never seen this picture of Link before I think. It has a style that's a little different.

sorry about the link not working, it showed up in my post so I just assumed it must have been working, but it must just be in opera's cache from when I viewed it at the site, D'Oh!

But, I didn't make it, so I can't change the format or anything...

Tips and Tactics Zelda book? Where'd that come from?

I have a little fold out strategies book that came with my gold Zelda cart, but no Tip and Tactics book that has all that artwork!

There was a Tips and Tactics book for Zelda and a "How to win at Super Mario Bros." book that you could buy from Nintendo Power a long time ago, around when they had issues 1-6 or even a little later. The tips and tactics book of Zelda had a cover with Link placing the last piece of the Triforce on the Triforce. I think they continued to sell them for a few years until they ran out. You could order them from the order form in the Player's Pulse Contest section.

That was probably me, as that is what I was searching for when I found zeldaclassic.com, and ended up here. Thanks!

I've been working with Clay for around..... 18 or 19 years now, and have often toyed with the idea of making an exact replica map of the first quest.... I've done a lot of Zelda figs in my day, and if I do say so myself theyve been quite well done. Would anyone here have any interest in seeing a mapping project like that done? All I need to do is come up wityh an acceptable scale and work from there.... Thoughts?

I would love to see it! I know it'll be alot of hard work to do though.

Meh, not really... It would come off with a very Z3 look in terms of coloring, and minitures are never that difficult for me... I only wish I were as good with sprites as I am with modeling, but oh well...

Have any of you ever seen any of my worrk? To the best of my knowlege I'vwe only ever posted a pipe that i made... "The Mancubis"

I never even knew you modeled with clay. Maybe you should put up a little section on your website so people could see?

Whoa, that looks nice. It's a shame that it's blurred in so many places though.
