There were also a couple close calls... Pedro Astacio of the Mets and Ted Lilly of the Yankees each had no-hit bids last into the eighth inning before they were broken up.

Yeah, the Mariners broke up Ted Lilly's no-no and then went on to win 1-0. :D

lol his no hitter was the first in boston,the city, for like 32 years amazing how much boston sucks aint it aint it.

yeah but that one walk prevented him from having a perfect game..which would have been a first in almost twice as many years
