Dechipher and I are having our first Midi composing contest in Music Metropolis, to get the musically talented creative juices flowing.

here are the rules:

***1. at least 4 instruments is fair: 2 melody, 1 bass, 1 percussion
***2. They can be either in .NWC (NoteWorthy Composer) format, OR . MID format
***3. To make this fair, DRUMS ARE NOT mandatory, but percussion is. (like hihats and claps) :)
***4. You can PM your files to either Dechipher or myself.
***5. Deadline is May 15th.
***6. STILL must be COMPLETELY original (Hermit, you wont have a problem with this ^_^)
***7. Points are as follows: 40 possible (easier judging)

10 for percussion
20 for melodies
10 for bassline

Dechipher and I will grade 40 points each for a possible total of 80 points.

thank you :D Good luck (for those who plan to enter)

ps: sorry but prize is undecided

Can you, by any chance, enlighten me as to how I can turn my music into midi? How do I make midi? What kind of program do I need? If I'm able to, I want to enter this. I'm a musician by trade...so I'm pumped.

well you would need a midi sequencer, most recognizeably Noteworthy Composer (which i personally use).

its pretty straight-forward. i would consult the help files for any help needed...

(no, you dont need winRAR for this...)
