Ok.. For the last month i've been working on a secret quest. Today while working with the editor i was ready to test it. So i exited zquest and went into zelda-w... when i registered my name and chose the quest it said Unable to lode ???(not its real name).qst Invalid quest file.
So i thought i just accidently changed the quest #. But when i tried to get into zquest it said Invalid Quest file.
WHAT THE FUC@ HAPPENED? DID I JUST LOSE A MONTH WORTH OF WORK!!! I CREATED A NEW TILESET FOR THIS! NO!!

I've been using 104 to build and 139 to play. Its always worked before and all my passworded quests still work but i hadn't put a password or much on the header at all

Well, I don't think there's much you can do about that. Let it just be a lesson to make backups frequently.

The one on the floppy doesn't work either (they were saved at the same time) DOH!
Welcome to the world of quest corruption.
I've had this happen about 6 or 7 times to me (the first time was the worst one to rebuild from). Should have made some backup .qsu files to import if it happens. I save an unencoded quest file everytime I save my quest since I started using 104.
Quests on floppy disks never work for some reason unless they are copied to the disk and not saved to it directly from Zquest.
I've had a quest get corrupted before after I added a midi.

This is why version 2.0 has the auto-backup feature, which exports a QSU everytime you save a file. (Yes, you can turn it off, but it's not recommended).

Dang it. that really sucks. i might as well tell you what it was..I was creating an Ages/Seasons mix. I had a pretty close version of the town I had made my own subrosia and all i have to show for it is two screen shots

On the bright side, twas only one month of work. The cure? Start over. :-p
And this time, create backups. Or save the file two or three times each time, one or the other.
