An 11 year old girl stepped in a pothole, cut her knee and sprained her ankle, so her parents sued Spokane and won $3100. I hope they spent some of the money they got on glasses for here. You can read it here (http://www.krem.com/news/city/krem2_pothole_suit.8059a7c8.html).

That's just plain stupid. The city should have sued that family right back for having an 11 year old retard for a child who can't watch where the hell shes going to begin with.

It amazes me what lengths people will go to these days just to get something for nothing. Greedy money hungry little....

Next time I see an illegally parked car I'm going to walk into it and then sue the owner. Or I could go outside and walk into a telephone poll, put on a neck brace, and win 5000 on Judge Judy:angry:

If you park your car on the railroad tracks at a railroad crossing, turn off the car, and wait for a train to hit you, if you live, if not your family could, you can sue the railroad. Is that screwed up or what?

i do think that is rather extreme... nobody should sue for a pothole unless they died or something. alert the town, yes, but sue for money, no.
