avatar limits?

What are the size limits for custum avatars? I tried to upload a 124x124 avatar and it just gives me this little zelda dude for no reason.

The little radio button for custom probably wasn't selected.
It's happenned to me.
And the limit is 150 x 150.

I would select the custom avatar button, but when I browsed for my pic, it automatically deselected the option, unbeknownst to me. So I kept going in circles until I finally browsed, then selcted the custom av option.

The limit isn't 150x150. I've seen ones that are 200 pixels tall, unless something's changed over the weekend.

The avatar limit is suppose to be 150x150pixels. There is one custom avatar that is 200 pixels tall but only about 80pixels wide, maybe tricking the forums into allowing it up. There's also a limit on the file size of the avatar, so once it starts getting big, its going to hit that limit. I had to jpeg my avatar to about 75% after trying to use a gif.

I thought I was becoming nuts when I tried to use a custom avatar for the first time here. Every time I got Link as avatar too. :rolleyes:
