i don't know, although the fact that 85% of my computer time is spent playing games can be a factor :mischief: .

Games aren't TOO addictive. I can say no and get away with it...:mischief:

Sure they are, who wants to go downstairs to eat when you're about to beat the last board.... damn i died... plays again....

I doubt they're TOO addictive though. This will probably end up being another cigarette clone.... first they discover the addiction.... then they turn out to be bad for your health

No, games arent to addictive, i personally NEVER play evercrack.... EVER.

now, if you'll excuse me, i only have like 50 more battles and 5 more hours until my wizard on asheron's call (everquest's microsoft counterpart) reaches level 44

No, games are not too addictive. I've gone about 4 months without playing a single game untill last night. I think that it's easy to just say no :)

(okay so I played warcraft III a few times wit channy & gang, but that's it. ;))

But if you go without having at least a little fun every once in a while it's TOTALLY UNHEALTHY!!! :O

Of course games aren't too addictive. That's ridiculous. Now, if you interrupt my Fallout game again, you DIE!

Games aren't addicting like a drug, but its just something some people may do excessively, like watch TV all the time.

Anyone every notice that when you play some games for like 3 weeks straight, but as soon as you leave Hyrule, its only been 10 hours?

Yes, I think videogames are addictive. My ps2 broke a month or so ago and I was like IM not gonna buy anything consoles for awhile, but 2 days gone by and I gave in, cause I was going nuts without games. SO I got a gamecube which im happy with

Take your favorite game...or a game you really like. When you were into it...like into the thick of it...how easily could you put it down? How often did you tell yourslef, "Just five more minutes" or "Until I die"? Yeah...thought so.

Playing good games is just as addictive as reading a good book or watching a great movie. You aren't going to put it down or pause the film in the height of the action either.

Most of these things end somewhere however. That's what's so dangerous about continuous games like Everquest.

They are if you don't keep a hot head. I got addicted to a game once then after I beat it I realized there was no more. So I decided I would tone down the amount of video games I played and tried not to let it get in the way of my life. However, that does not mean I never get addicted to any games sometimes.
