For some reason IGN is letting me view all of them this time.. wierd.. maybe they decided 3 shots a day was too gay even for their gay-ass insider service :)

That looks like a bunch of Pokeys in the first pic.

As long as it has Super Mario Bros./Super Mario 64 gameplay I'll be happy. It looks like it will from the second and third screen shots, and stuff I've seen before. The last three look like Mario is talking to npcs in the game.

I have always loved Mario, but these screenshots keep looking fruitier and fruitier. Especially with NPCs that look like they were taken straight from Veggie Tales. I don't like this whole water and paint concept either. But hell, it comes out on my birthday, so it must be good.

This is one case I wouldn't mind them making say...this a remake of Super Mario Bros 3 or something...anything but what this is.

Seems In-House Nintendo games are sucking, but everything else is bad ass...weird, huh?

maybe the N wants to make their own games look like poo, while making the other games on their system from other game producers look better. i dont know reall, but this is looking pretty lame IMO. :pimp:

Luigi's Mansion. Sucked.

Wave Race. Only ok.

Super Smash Bros. Nicer graphics, made bigger. Best one so far.

Super Mario Sunsine - looks fruity

LoZ - you know how I feel. I'd rather them spell it "Gannon" than play what they have.

SFA - Can you say Delay, Delay, Delay! (not totally EAD).

Pikmin - short, boring, and uh...wasn't there a game called Lemmings a few years back...

Becuase a game is delayed or doesn't have the same graphic style of the previous games and is not even out yet doesn't mean they suck. Starfox Adventuers shouldn't even be in that list. As much as I hated the look of Zelda, it wasn't until I actually watched the movie of it with the music in the background that I saw a game that could really be fun. Of course I'd like to still see a proper Ocarina of Time sequel.
Mario Sunshine, the same thing. Super Mario Bros. is probably my favorite series right next to Zelda. While I'm not too sure about this whole water gun thing, from seeing the movie of it, it looks like it follows SM64's gameplay, and the new screen shots are showing the platforming elements of Mario. What it needs now is some Goombas and Koopa Troopas.

I found Pikmin really fun and original. I'd like to see a sequel. The only thing I dislike about the game is the time limit, but it makes it challenging and you've really got to work to get everything done in a day.

I haven't taken the time to play Luigi's Mansion yet. I know its no Mario game, but from what I saw of my sister playing, its definitely something original and is going to entertain while it lasts.

Wave Race is ok. I mildly like the N64 game too. I'm not into all the tricks of games like 1080 and Wave Race, I'd rather race. The graphics in the game are kinda bland or general and not as detailed as they could be. But the gameplay makes up for that.

I think a big part of the style of weirdness or change in the games coming from EAD is that what Miyamoto keeps stressing about, innovation and originality. Let's think about it, each year there are sequels and sequels of the same thing over and over. Companies are too afraid to try new things because they're afraid they won't sell. If games keep being the same thing over and over, people are going to get bored. This is one reason why I'd like to see Doshin and Animal Leader released here, they're games that are more original and something we haven't played.

What was it like back in the NES days when everything was fresh and new?

i actually think that a few of the N's games are good. smash melee is one of em. another would most likely be pikmin/staf for adventures and maybe luigi's mansion. :kawaii:

I can honestly say Pikmin doesn't bore me...i still play it now and again to get better scores in the challenge mode.

LoZ may look bad to some people, but witht the new cartoony enginy-thingy, they can do alot more. Did you see his attack back-flips?

Luigi's Mansion wasn't great, but it took out the boring recesses of Sundays, which makes me happy.

And I don't think Mario looks fruity...the whole series is cutesy and rather bright. Although, i think the pic with the spraying water is a little...uhm...that is to say...pornographic...However, if it's Mario, it will undoubtfully be fun, long, and system-pushing
