Wow, I got more replies than I thought I would. I'm here in Ohio at my friends grandparents house. We made it there okay and stuff...we're gonna party later on.

This 56k is actually pretty fast...almost better than my cable modem...strange....:shrug:

no..that's where zaph and i and moocow and warlord and goatboy and gerudo and the desperado and...(you get the picture) live.
the get together is in indiana...about 1/2 hour or so from here (sw ohio)

Just curious, how fast is the processor of your computer back home? You need about 250-300mhz to take advantage of a cable modem connection or you won't see much difference, or it might just be everyone in your nieghborhood using cable modems.

I just got home today. I was in Springfield Ohio, near Dayton.

And their computer wasn't all that great, a packard bell with a 3 gig hard drive...I didn't want to snoop around to see much more of it though.

Trip was fun, and I really needed it.
