What is this game? I thought it was a new game, but some screeshots I've seen look like the original levels from Gauntlet Legends. Does it have the old levels and new ones too or something? Also, I've read the Gamecube version has bad framerate. Is it really that bad because I'm thinking of getting this game for the Gamecube and I just wanted to know a few things about it.

Well this has been out for a while for other systems, and honestly, if you've played Legends, you've already played this too. Doesn't look like they bothered fixing all the fuckups from the other versions either... oh well.

To tell ya the truth though, I've always loved Gauntlet, so the new ones, with all their flaws, don't bother me. I guess it depends on how much you're into Gauntlet. I'd never pay full price for them because they do have many flaws, but I'd probably get it in a Blockbuster Bin or somethin.

Well, that was the review I read too. Thats what made me post here. I've played Gauntlet Legends quite a bit at my friends house. I almost beat it. I think despite its flaws, it was quite fun for me. I just wanted to know if anyway who has played it, is the framerate for the Gamecube real bad, and are the levels from Gauntlet Legends included in this game too?

I went ahead and bought this game for the Gamecube. It has the same 4 realms from Legends, but has 4 added ones, and some of the levels have been redesigned. I thought Legends was fun, so I think the same about this.

The only thing I hate, is that the menu system for using items during the game seems bugged, and I can't tell what items are in the list, or whether I'm using them or not.

I'm playing as the Jester and I've made it to the castle realm. I haven't beat Lich from the Forgotten Providence yet, and I thought I would be doing something wrong because he doesn't seem to be dying after 15 minutes in battle at around level 25. He is suppose to have a health meter, but I don't see it anywhere on the screen. A few walkthroughs say there is a health bar too. What's the matter?

I was looking around at new games and all, and wanted to see how X-Box has updated this game. The back of the box says:

50 playable characters:

Dwarf, Knight, Sorceress, Jester, Valkerie, Archer. Can you find the other 42 hidden characters.

Ok, now doesn't that just sound wrong. They missed 2 of the main characters, and where in the world do they get 42 hidden characters. You have the 8, 1 for each class. What is the other 34 characters?

They must be the hidden characters like a chicken that probably aren't drastically different than the rest.
Just something they can tack on for a list of features I guess.

XBox is good for a few things.

1. Halo
2. DoA3
3. Murder Weapon
4. Paper Weight

That's about it. Oh wait, perhaps watching porn? lol.

I don't know, the X-box does have that nifty feature where you can rip songs from music CDs and assemble your own playlist to listen to while playing other games. I'd say that is hell of a cool feature... and I'm not that into music.

I imagine with some years of garnering some decent games, X-box will be much more desirable to purchase.
