I have old 333 mhz computer, and I want to higher speed as 1.5 ghz. Will it work if I change cpu to 1.5 ghz? or I have to change motherboard?

You will probably have to change motherboards. Most motherboards have a max capacity, and I have a feeling that if whatever processor you have is 333 Mhz, the motherboard was not planned to go up to Ghz.

Also, some motherboards from machines made by compaq, emachine and such, have intergrated parts, so you can't change the CPU because of all the stuff intergrated into the motherboard.

This is why I built my own computer from the beginning. Now if I want to upgrade something, I don't have to replace everything. :kawaii:

Wow, 333 MHz to 1.5 GHz? That's quite a jump...

It's probably impossible to do such an upgrade, and even if it worked, it'd still be better to get a completely new one. Compatibility issues aren't nice, as my old PC will testify. It used to crash randomly, even scrolling down in MS Word could lock it up... :/
