Ok! It's been awhile since I last put up some screens on the current progress of DoY, so I thought I'd let you all know that the quest is s till running forward, still working on becoming the best damn lay in Zelda Classic. From the winds of the twilight garden..

...to the inferno of Death Mountain...

Once again, thank you Darth Cronic and the Absolute Zelda Classic site for the file space. I'd kiss you if you weren't a dirty, dirty person.

Those look cool!

I especially like the Twilight Gardens pic.

Something tells me the next beta is going to really be great!

Looks awesome. :D Definately going to be one of the best around, I can tell. :)

But you need to work on the keese tiles. They have red outlines? :odd:

Cause I'm a lazy sonofabitch, mostly. I need to go and fix the dungeon pallette for such baddies as Bats... but since you're the second person to mention that, maybe it's worth my while to go do that today. :)

Looks kwel but if I can't get to the dreameaters in the first beta then I might not be able to do it when the next beta comes out. its very :shocking: isn't it.

I cant promise anything, but since everyone and their brother had problems with the first part of DoY back in the demo, I modified it so that the game holds your hand alot more. So you might have an easier time. But dont hold your breath, the final version is still months away.

Do that, things that use the wrong colors and look crappy really degrade the quest.

Well that all depends on the grapics, storyline, challenge, and overall neatness like the keese tiles from that picture.

What the? Isn't that an Eggatrice from Secret of Mana or Seiken Densetsu 3?

Yes, well, that was the inspiration. You'll find in the newer versions that the enemies have gotten quite the facelift, and several enemies from the SD series appear. Kudos go out to Plith and Warlock, who provided excellent tiles to start from. Some of them, like the eggatrices, are made totally from scratch.
