Black Hawk Down won best editing
Moulin Rouge won Costume
LotR just won something.

LotR 1 for 3. Can only win 11 now...it won't dethrone Titanic.

If I had James Cameron in a room, I would smack him upside the head and ask him: Why did you make such a long boring movie? And how much money did it take to bribe the Acadamy members?

Back on topic now: Too bad LoTR couldn't do it, oh well, there's still TTT and RotK! :D

I havn't been watchin'.. LOTR loose any catagories yet? Seems like most of the nominees are crap.. I wanna see Ian McKellem (sp?) win for best supporting actor. He was awesome (or maybe he already won?)

Halle Barry Won BEST ACTRESS! WOW! The first African American to win it!

LotR took home 4 awards...all in small categories. Don't worry...there are two more films...and Jackson/Rings will rule the day eventually.

Can't say I've paid much attention to the academy awards. So has LOTR won any more? It's one of the few movies based on a book that actually do the book justice.

LOTR should have won more than it did. That is an EXCEPTIONAL film. I noticed the clip they played when the nominees were announced for best makeup early in the show; it was one of the guy who plays Gimli. I thought to myself, upon seeing the other nominees, that they had that one sewn up.

I was right. :) That was enough award show for me, though. :shrug:

I can't wait for the other two films. :D
