Where the hell did this come from?

Either its a false auction, or those DVDs were illegally produced. I have not heard of the Star Wars trilogy ever being released on DVD, even after George Lucas turned around on his stance toward the DVD medium and had Episode I sold on DVD.

There are Star Wars VCDs too, but they are indeed legally made. But only in europe. Perhaps those DVDs were made and bought in europe as well.

Edit: Yup, after checking the country they use PAL video format just like europe, I'm fairly sure.

They said they will play on any region players.

Yes... anyone can set the region to ALL. I'm just saying they probably originated in europe.

You may notice the person who is selling the collection is from Australia... so it probably did originate from Europe, especially if Australia uses European regulations for various things.

That would be pretty sweet if they did come out with the DVD trilogy.
