I doubt it would take that long...
But im not sure because i PM WL but he never replied so i take it he didnt know either....
But if everyone worked on it really hard i wouldnt be suprised if it was all back up in two weeks or less...:)

I'm pretty sure that announcements stay up 30 days in general. (Every announcement I've seen so far has had a 30-day duration.)

But that still begs the question: When will the stars and such make their return?

I don't care about the stars (they were cool)...

I am more concerned with the Avatar update/Custom Title option.

They are upgrading the ENTIRE vBulletin code, methinks. War Lord will install the hacks when he can, I've been on some very hacked boards, and it takes a while to install hacks. Remember all the glitches with rank and stars that custom titles were causing? WL may be trying to fix that before he adds the feature.

I think what he is doing is trying to reincorperate the random quotes witht the new - change the colour' thing. He said that didn't he?

We can set the duration. Go to the ZC forums and check my announcement there; it lasts until August 15, which is the closing date of the contest. Basically, we set the time it stays up; it defaults to a month if we don't. :)

When SB feels like putting them back.
