View Full Version : I got a domain, what should I do with it?

I just did the whole No-IP dealy, and I now have alexmax.no-ip.com under my grasp.

What should I put on it though?

I have no clue, so I am leaving it up to you guys. War Lord already has an FTP server up, AGN already has a chat room...so what could I set up?

Note that I am probably not going to be able to keep it up 24/7/365, although I should have it up a majority of the time.

Any ideas?

I am leaning toward a Quake Server myself, as I that computer happens to be a Pentium 133 with 32 megs of RAM (I could play half life on it...barely...)

Would that run Half-Life Dedicated Server too?

And the only problem with running a server like that is every time I try and start it up, it seems to want to use it's LAN IP. Any ideas?
