What I mean is I have this idea where when you go into a cave or staircase you'll go to a new map that's like an underworld/darkworld. But when I try to place guys on the screen for it they are above the ground. Is there any way I can acomplish this?

Above the ground? You mean you want to make a 2d view from the side. OK, just make all the tiles besides where link is supposed to walk unwalkable and no enemies shouls appear there. Otherwise, I dont think I know what your talking about...

No no no. Not a 2d thing an underworld. You know like... In FF2 how you go into dwarf land and in FF3/6 the world after the statues. Only like a link style game.

I'm not sure exactly what you're saying, but I think what you would have to do is make a second dmap. Then have a tile warp or sidewarp to the different dmap. Check out the tutorial for an explanation of side warps.

If you mean like.. the dark world from LTTP, I'm very sure that it's possible..

All you would have to do is set it up.. assign the dark/underworld it's own dmap, then set a trigger spot to move from dmap to dmap.

The problem is that you have it set to be a cave or a dungeon type dMap for the darkworld, I believe. All you have to do is set the new dMap for overworld type.

I have a darkworld in my quest. All I did was use different tiles than the normal overworld. To get there I made a tower on top of death mountain. The screen it is on has an intsta warp to the darkworld. You walk in the buiding and the screen changes and Link comes out of a similar tower in the darkworld.

Yeah, but you'd better be careful, everyone's doing Darkworlds or past or future worlds. Make sure it's original. I'm doing a pair of worlds CC style. (Not tiles or graphics or such...just in mechanics)

Ok but about the insta warp I dont want it to be that way because then it wont recognise the new Dmap. The music wont change, or anything else i set to it theres gotta be some way!I wont give up.

Hmmm... I'm doing the same thing... Except having time travel and light worlds... I'm still figuring it out.....
