There was a quest I played back around the time ZC was first produced. I can't remember the name but I remember liking it a lot.
It used 16-Bit/Sattlaview Zelda style graphics
It definitely had Fire Mages
When levels were completed, the exits generally took Link to new parts of the world map
I played this quest sometime circa 2000-2001.
