Walkthroughs

The following are walkthroughs for the original Legend of Zelda, for players who have never played The Legend of Zelda before. These walkthroughs only give step by step information for the first quest, and second quest. Custom Quest Walkthroughs (if available) are kept with their Quest Database entry. Please find the Quest in the database to see if there is a walkthrough for it.

Alan Mitsugi's FAQ Version 1.1 (Walkthrough) A fairly good walkthrough for the first quest. Contains directions to get through levels. No major errors.

Martin Nielson's FAQ Has a wider variety of information than the above walkthrough. Much of the information here can also be found in the instruction manual. Confuses the Magic Sword with Ninja Gaiden's Dragon Sword though.

View Walkthrough
Dan Simpson's Complete Walkthrough Has complete walkthroughs for the 1st and 2nd quest, and also maps for each. Very extensive.

View Walkthrough
Legend of Zelda Manual for NES The original instruction manual typed out. Not really a walkthrough, but fits into this section regardless.
