Sick Bug [2.50.1 and above] Large-hitbox Link starts swimming wrong

When you hold diagonal directions while entering water, Particularly if Link is facing the wrong direction I think, he can get stuck in a loop, where it appears that the game is trying to line him up with the combo grid for entering water, but doing so in the wrong direction and pulling him indefinitely (with a weird, sped-up swimming animation) until he reaches the edge of the water (it also seems to have a slight risk of moving him through solid combos).

So far I have only seen this behavior when I had "Large Link Hitbox" checked under Sprites -> Link. However, it may not be dependent on that, I'm not sure.

I have seen it in 2.50.1, 2.50.2, and 2.54 beta 46; I believe it's probably in all versions above 2.50.
